Our Proud
History
The firm was established by the late Brian Bacon in 1998.
Brian Bacon was one of only two patent attorneys in Cape Town when he moved here in the late 1970’s and during the four decades that followed, he truly became a doyen of the Cape Town IP law fraternity.
We have been privileged to practice with him during the last years of his career that ended shortly before his eightieth birthday in 2019.
Brian Bacon is remembered for his range and depth of IP skills, and his unwavering work ethic, but also for his remarkable ability to retain his senses of compassion and humour irrespective of the challenges of the day.
